Ryde Town Hall is Listed Grade II. Since the War Memorials form an integral part of the building it is assumed they are covered by the Listing.
 
Description

A bronze plaque naming casualties from the Great War. There are five panels, each with 2 columns of names.

The Memorial was unveiled and dedicated on Sunday 13th August 1922 by the Marquis of Carisbrooke, CCVO.

Harold Emanuel Bevis No CWGC record Son of Harold and Maria Bevis of George St, Ryde. Served with the Rifle Brigade and was severely wounded and gassed. He died on 27th February 1924 and is buried in Ryde Borough Cemetery - see Harold Bevis (RSHG). There is an entry on the County War Memorial at Carisbrooke Castle for BEVIS H M, which may refer to him.

Frank Vieland Parker CWGC record ... Born March 1875 in Norwich. Lived on Island prior to marrying Alice Emily Godden in 1909 at Newport Register Office. She was born in Godshill in 1891. She is buried in Ryde Cemetery. They lived in Player Street, Ryde. Frank Vieland Parker, service number 154010, was a Chief Petty Officer 1st Class on HMS Cressy when he died on Sept 22nd 1914, body not recovered. His name is on panel 1 of the Royal Navy Chatham War Memorial. His son Leonard Percy Parker (CWGC record) died in WW II and is named on the WW II panels at Ryde Town Hall.
