Further Information

Maurice Tennant Carre. Son of the Rev. Arthur Augustus Carre and Florence Carre (née Heath), of 11, Grosvenor Rd., East Grinstead, Sussex, England. Native of Ryde, Isle of Wight.

Born 1885, Ryde.

By 1891 the family were in Weymouth. In 1901 the family were in Bromley, when Maurice Carre was an Office Clerk with the Orient Co.

On enlistment Maurice Carre gave his trade as Motor Mechanic.

Killed in Action.
