Son of : Pte. Walter Culip Blackman, King's Royal Rifle Corps (Killed in action in France, 1st October, 1914), and of Alice Louisa Blackman (née Gomes), of Newport, Isle of Wight. Member of the Pharmaceutical Society.

Born : 1913 (registered Elham, Mar 1913 qtr.)
