Description

The Great War plaque is one of four identical plaques for Northwood Parish, originally installed in :

Northwood Parish Church
Gurnard All Saints Church
Gurnard Methodist Church
Marks Corner


The World War II plaque marks the fact that the cross over the pulpit is a war memorial.

Following demolition of the Church, the Great War Memorial Plaque was removed and is now in storage with Cowes Heritage. (noted in 2012)
