Isaac Foss, son of Joseph Foss and Sarah Foss (née Lowe) of Alverstone Cottages, Whippingham.
Born : 1892, Beaulieu, Hampshire. (Also the birthplace of his parents- the family appear to have moved to the Isle of Wight about 1894/5).
Census Information :
1901 : Joseph and Sarah Foss, with their children including George aged 16, and Isaac aged 9, are at Alverstone Cottage, Whippingham.
Joseph Foss is a Farm labourer.
1911 : Joseph and Sarah Foss, with their children including Isaac aged 19, are at Alverstone Cottage, Whippingham. Joseph Foss is a Farm labourer;
Isaac Foss is a Gardener (Domestic).
