Officers Died in the Great War shows ARTHUR CUKELYN MORRIS, CWGC records show ARTHUR CUHELYN MORRIS as a Lieutenant in the RFC, and it seems likely that
the entry on the War Memorial was incorrectly inscribed.
The CWGC entry for ARTHUR CAPEL MORRIS shows a Private in the Royal Munster Fusiliers and this is the person commemorated, as his parents Mr and Mrs Capel Morris
are shown as being resident at "Brookfield" Binstead Road, Ryde, in the Kelly's Directory for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, 1911.
