St Michael's Church is Listed Grade II*. It is not known whether the Listing covers the boundary wall on which this plaque is situated.
 
Description

A stone plaque on the wall of the Church Hall of St Michael's Church marking the air raid on the area in 1941. St Michael's Road was named Church Road at the time. Trees were planted in 1950 to mark those who were killed; some trees were replaced in 1992.

A plaque was erected in nearby Swanmore Middle School in May 1993 - no details of this are known.
