To the glory of God and in memory of those who fell in the Great War 1914 - 1919. The Reredos was given to the Church by their relatives and friends and this screen was erected to bear the names of their comrades by Bembridge Ex-Service Men. THIS PANEL IS ERECTED BY THE BEMBRIDGE BRANCH OF THE BRITISH LEGION TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN MEMORY OF THE MEN OF THIS VILLAGE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES THAT FREEDOM MIGHT LIVE 1939 - 1945 Names recorded |
