Parents not known.

Born : 1887, Hatfield, Essex. (registered as Herbert George Stone).

Married : Agnes Susannah Shepherd, Edmonton, Middlesex, June 1912 qtr. Her husband is named as Herbert G Stone in the GRO Index.

Agnes Susannah Stone remarried, in 1921, Albert George Worth, at the Register Office, Newport, Isle of Wight. It is this reference which has caused the inclusion of this casualty in this website. It is not known whether George Alfred Stone ever lived on the Isle of Wight.
