Sons of Robert Denham Rae, and Gertrude Ellen Rae, of St. Eloi, The Avenue, Totland, Isle of Wight.
 
Frederick Alan Rae is buried at Freshwater; Hector Robert Rae died at sea and is commemorated on the Portsmouth Naval Memorial, Hampshire.
