Son of : Albert Cook and Rose Emma Cook (née Winslow), of Cowes, Isle of Wight.
 
Born : 1916, Cowes, Isle of Wight.
 
CWGC record ...
 
KILLED : Gunner Charles James Cook (24), eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A Cook, of 32 Victoria-road, Cowes, as a result of enemy air activity over the South Coast. For several years the deceased worked for Mr. B. Simmonds, butcher, of Mill Hill-road, and later was employed at Messrs. J.S. White's. A member of the Territorials, he was called up at the outbreak of hostilities.
