ISLE OF WIGHT TERRITORIALS AT WAR

Lieut. and Quartermaster G. Giddens, in a letter received by his wife at Carisbrooke-road yesterday, said it was heavy fighting in which the Island Rifles took part and he came through all right, but he was afraid the battalion's casualties were rather heavy, although he was unable to say what they were then, as the regiment was so scattered.
