Description

Cross, with panels bearing the names of Great War and World War II names.

Designed by Frank Moorman of Ventnor, unveiled 8th October 1920 by HRH Princess Beatrice. Service conducted by the Rev R. Heaton.

FRANK COBB No CWGC record Frank Cobb died of TB on 17th March 1917 at Lucknow House, Wroxall. He was 23. On his Death Certificate he is shown as being a Motor Lorry Driver (Naval Pensioner) and the death was notified by his widow M A C Cobb.
His name also appears on the Shalfleet War Memorial window at St Michael's Church
