W.G. and Mrs. Whittam, The Vicarage, West Norwood, formerly of the I.W. College, Ryde, aged 21 years. Page 8 THE ISLAND AND THE WAR. RYDE. Lieut. M.J.G. Whittam, 8th Batt. Duke of Wellington's Regiment, who has died of wounds sustained in the Dardanelles, received his commission in February of this year. He is a son of the Rev. W.G. Whittam, for many years headmaster of the I.W. College, Ryde.
