Born : 1898, Sandown.
  Census information :

1901 : Maria [sic] Butcher, with her children including Percy aged 2, is at 14 Guadeloupe Terrace, Esplanade, Sandown. Maria Butcher is a Lodging House Keeper.

1911 : George and Mary Butcher, with their children including Percy aged 12, are at Pells Cottage, Broadway, Sandown. George Butcher is a Coal Porter.

Corporal 5488 Percy Loben Butcher, 2nd Bn., Rifle Brigade.

Awarded Military Medal.
Casualty Details :

Died : 23 October 1916 aged 18.

Commemorated at : Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France.
