1911 : Mary Ash, with children including Charles aged 21, are at Thatch Cottage, High St, Wroxall. Charles Ash is a Gardener Nurseryman.
Benjamin Ash is a Boarder with the Allen family in St Helens.

Included in the recent lists of wounded are the names of Ptes. A.P. Morris and H. Hastings (Hampshire Regiment), both of Ventnor. Information has been received that Rifleman C. Ash, of Wroxall, is missing. He was an employee of Drover and Son.

Information has been received that Private C. Ashe, of Wroxall, 14th Hampshire Regiment, has been posted as "missing" since Sept. 3rd.
