  Further Information :

Leading Aircraftman Stephens died of meningitis inflammation of the brain or spine in a Cairo Hospital. This does not explain why he is buried in Israel (Palestine at the time of his death). His place of origin is thought to be Shanklin or Lake, Isle of Wight.
