Biographical information
James Bush was the son of George Henry William Bush and his wife Ruth Ann Maria (nee Bull) and was born on 21st September 1890 at Ventnor.
His parents moved to Haslemere in Surrey, in 1913. His brother Charles died in 1900 as a result of standing for 5 hours as part of the
Hampshire Militia welcome guard of honour to General Buller.
