Name did not originally appear on the WW II panels of the Newport War Memorial but has now been added.

Son of William and Margaret Tait; husband of Frances Mary Tait, of Newport, Isle of Wight. Died 6th August 1943, aged 38. Buried at Medjez-el-Bab War Cemetery in Tunisia; grave reference 7.F.7.
