Biographical information

SERGEANT FREDERICK RENDALL serving with the Royal Marine Light Infantry was a victim of the disaster in which the pre-Dreadnought H.M.S. Bulwark blew up as a result of an internal explosion in November 1914. He left a widow and two children.

CWGC records give his surname as Rendell. HMS Bulwark was destroyed on 26 Nov 1914 while in Sheeerness Harbour. Sergeant Rendall is buried at Gillingham (Woodlands) Cemetery.
