Description

A bench marked with a carved inscription, and five cherry trees planted, one for each of the women who died. The trees have since been removed.

Mrs Irons was the wife of the Vicar of St Paul's Church, The Rev R B Irons, who also died. A Memorial lectern is installed at St Paul's Church to his memory and of the others who died in WW II.
