Description

A stone plaque naming National Fire Service men from Ryde who died in the Second World War.

Unveiled and dedicated on 4 May 1947 - see newspaper report below for details.

Originally sited in the Fire Station in Station Street, Ryde, it was relocated when the new Fire Station was built.
