Description

Fumed oak plaque. Unveiled Sunday 18 May 1947.

June 2008 : The Memorial is temporarily in storage pending refurbishment of the Hall. The Ryde Memorial plaque is also now in storage at Newport, and it is believed that a further plaque from the now-demolished Cowes Citadel is also in storage.

Status as at Nov 2012 : The Newport plaque has apparently been donated to a relative of one of the men named; the Ryde plaque has not been mounted in the Newport Citadel as yet, and there is no information about a Cowes plaque having existed.
