St Thomas's Church is Listed Grade II. Since the Memorial is situated within the curtilage of the Church, it is assumed to be covered by the Listing.
 
Description

A stone plaque, marking the visit of H.M. The Queen and H.R.H. The Duke of Edinburgh, to St Thomas's Church and the Bicentennial of the sailing of the First Fleet to Australia.
An old anchor is displayed on a plinth nearby. (As at 2008, the anchor had been removed).
